Wamena Airport – WMX Wamena

Wamena airport is situated in Wamena, Jayawijaya Regency, Indonesia. Due to its high altitude and surrounding mountains, the airport is hailed as one of the dangerous airports in the country. The new terminal also improved its facilities with 5 check-in counters, boarding lounge with more seats, and a bigger toilet.  WMX Airport caters to domestic flights only with several local airlines serving the area regularly.
