Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo, Texas is a multipurpose convention center with various spaces for different functions. First, it has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 2,848. This is used for Broadway shows, concerts, among other events of similar nature. Then, there is Cal Farley Coliseum, a multipurpose arena that can seat up to 4,987 people. This is home to the Amarillo Venom of Champions Indoor Football and Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League. Another interesting site to visit in the area is Wonderland Park. Inaugurated in 1951, it features amusement rides, booths, children’s rides, and water rides. It is home to 4 roller coasters. Tourists should also visit Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument. It was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 1966.
